I started writing this on April 4, 2017. It had been on my heart throughout the week to write about this. Many at times we feel that we are all alone in this world. We feel dejected, unwanted, and unhappy, that everything is not right and there is no one behind us. I realized that we are wrong and we haven’t put our faith in our Father who loves us and will give us everything we want and need.

Our Father is so caring, that even when we fall short of the expected behaviors, He does not look at our shortcomings, but rather, he calls us to Himself. Yes, that is how good He is!

If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better? (Matthew 7:9-11 Msg).

We should not for once think that our Father in heaven will ever treat us bad. He is always good to us and always wants what is best for us.

In the story of David and Absalom, it clearly tells us about how even when Absalom was rebellious, his father still loved him dearly. The king commanded Joab, Abishai and Ittai, “Be gentle with the young man Absalom for my sake.” And all the troops heard the king giving orders concerning Absalom to each of the commanders. 33 The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept. As he went, he said: “O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you—O Absalom, my son, my son!” (2 Sam 18:5,33 NIV).

The father wept because his son who wanted to kill him was dead. This is a true depiction of our Fathers love. He is always there to make sure we are a success even if He has to risk his life.

David if he had taken the right decisions from the onset could have saved his sons life. He never addressed the issue on one of his sons who raped his daughter; he never addressed the issue when Absalom killed his brother and this is when the rebellion started. Thanks be to God for our heavenly Father who corrects us by the Holy Spirit. He tells us what to do at every point in time of our lives.

Most people will say they do not hear from God, but they do, they are just not paying attention. When we build a stronger relationship with Him, everything becomes easy. Get close to the Father, read your bible, speak in tongues, meditate and listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

We are bound to win and we will forever be on top when you give God the chance to be the true Father of your life.
